Gagosian Gallery is pleased to announce "Rear Projection", an exhibition by John Waters.

Waters uses this term, an artificial and outdated visual effect along with other insider film trade lingo to celebrate the excess of the movie industry.  This is embraced, attacked and taken to extremes in an exhibition of 36 photographs and four sculptures.

"Rear Projection" opens at Gagosian Gallery in Beverly Hills on April 11 and runs through May 23, 2009
