Michael Walker regarding their current works in our "Intensidad" exhibition. Barbara Carrasco creates small concentrated bites of intense, yet delicate, drawings. J. Michael Walker, fresh from his one-man exhibition at the Autry National Center makes a 180 degree turn from his Saints series by exhibiting a large colored pencil nude of unusual beauty. Elizabeth Perez's portraits of tattooed people introduces us to a defiant sub-culture. John Valadez, always on point, exhibits his series on the dance of the matador.
