Bert Green Fine Art is pleased to present three solo shows. Sandra Yagi is having her third show with the gallery, in which she continues to develop her signature style of chimerical figuration, painted in classical styles, in which she intersects themes of myth, religion, popular culture, and politics. Jessica Curtaz debuts in her first show at BGFA her delicate graphite drawings on panel, which have as their subjects simple objects portrayed in abstract terms. Simple and minimal, these works are starkly contemporary. Doug Cox also has his first show at BGFA. Cox, with the eye of the indifferent observer, paints shadowy figures, the denizens of private, even secret spaces where the body is celebrated.
