ABOUT THE EVENING

In its fifth year an Evening of Art is truly a
community event benefiting the school, local artists
and the community.  Over 100 local artists
participate, and over 500 people attend each year to
shop and view the work while enjoying the wonderful
historic ambiance of Barnsdall Art Park.

ABOUT NEIGHBORHOOD NURSERY SCHOOL

The Neighborhood Nursery School has been serving young
Los Angeles Families for half a century beginning in
1952. The school is located on the North end of the
Silver Lake Reservoir. It is a non-profit cooperative
owned and operated by the parents of it’s students.
Parents work as teaching assistants in conjunction
with the long standing certified teachers. They
maintain the buildings and grounds, and organize fund
raisers
including the January Art Show and the Annual
Spring Fair which has become a Silver Lake community
tradition.

The curriculum is designed to help children ages 3 to
5 to become enthusiastic learners, active and creative
explorers not just in preschool but throughout their
lives.

This is an annual event - one day only. The email contact and open hours are not correct - those must be for the gallery itself. This event is Saturday jan 24 from 4 to 8 pm. Will try and correct.
