Join art educator Melanie Levine as we look into the world of erotic fine art from an art  historical point of  view.   Controversial  and  ground  breaking  works  such as  Courbet’s “Origin of the  World”,  Schiele’s “The Embrace” and Picasso’s “Blue Nude” will be discussed, among other famous works.  We will also touch upon The First International Exhibition of Fine Erotic Art held in Lund Sweden in 1968, and why it was so
revered.

Melanie Levine is an  art educator and  consultant who has been working in the  arts  for  over 10  years. Since 2003,  she  has been an independent studies scholar at the Getty Research Institute in Los Angles. Melanie was educated in studio art at the San Fransico Art Institute and has a Mathematics degree from the  University of  Michigan and is a member of the Art Historians of Southern California. .  She  currently runs  808  Fine  Art,  a consulting and  advisory  firm  in  Los  Angeles.
