The Riverside Art Museum is proud to continue a new program highlighting artist-members who have received awards in previous Members’ Exhibitions with a mini-exhibition by photographer Helen Waller. Helen Waller’s love of photography started early. As a child, she took photos of her brother’s dog all dressed up and scenes in Israeli villages. Fast forward a few more years and the locale changed to an Apinaye village in Brazil.
Retirement after a career as a Special Education teacher allowed Helen the opportunity to further her love of photography by going to classes to learn how to take better pictures. As the Honorable Mention winner of the 2012 Members’ Exhibition, RAM is proud to showcase her work.
