> DESCRIPTION

If Los Angeles is truly a global architectural capital, why are so many of its architects better appreciated elsewhere? Join a lively conversation exploring the influence of LA-based architects outside and inside of the city. Presented in conjunction with A New Sculpturalism: Contemporary Architecture from Southern California, speakers are architects Neil Denari, HsinMing Fung, and Michael Maltzan; KCRW’s Frances Anderton moderates.

FREE with museum admission

Reservations for this event have closed; however, unclaimed tickets will be released to standby guests on a first-come, first-served basis. A simulcast of the panel will be available in the MOCA Grand Avenue Reading Room for overflow visitors.
