“-Okay. How do we start?

  -A picture would be good.

Pepin Moore is proud to present (Not) Coming Soon (Enough), a solo exhibition of new works by Bobbi Woods on view from June 15th through July 20th. A reception for the artist will be held Saturday, June 15th from 4:00pm to 7:00pm.

(Not) Coming Soon (Enough) includes a new suite of Woods’ one-sheet movie poster works and an installation of DVD takeaways. The exhibition presents a focused selection of her continued work editing mass-marketed imagery. From the monochromatic wall works created from multiples of the same poster, to the sculptural works made to relate to the gallery space, Woods reconfigures the context of her source imagery while emphasizing the structure and intent of her materials.

Bobbi Woods (b. St. Louis, MO) received her BFA and MFA from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA. Solo exhibitions of her work have been presented at Fourteen30 Contemporary, Portland; Workspace, Los Angeles; Annie Wharton, Los Angeles; and 2nd Cannons, Los Angeles; among others. Woods's work is currently included in the group exhibitions Painting in Place, Los Angeles Nomadic Division (LAND) at Farmers & Merchants Bank, Los Angeles; More Young Americans at L’Enclos des Bernardins, Paris; and California Visual Music at Chapman University, Orange, CA. Woods lives and works in Los Angeles, and is represented by Pepin Moore and Fourteen30 Contemporary, Portland.
