> DESCRIPTION

A opening reception, featuring music by No Little Kindness, will be held on Thursday October 30th from 4pm to 8pm with music starting at 7pm. The exhibition and opening is at 2737 W Sunset Blvd in Los Angeles.

The art of Jonathan Puls explore the creation of memory through the lives of his immediate family in rich paintings that combine powerful portraiture and the unique landscape of Southern California.

The opening reception will feature the music of No Little Kindness. NLK is a band that "comes together like stew, everyone tossing in favorite ingredients and letting them all simmer until something beautiful emerges. We pray a lot because we all know that we're broken and in need of healing. That's really why we make our music--to be made whole, to rejoice even in our pain and nagging doubt, to sing when everything inside us wants to be silent and shout when the joy can't be restrained."
