Les Figues Press is hosting the second event of their Q.E.D. II series on April 8th. The event, titled Inchoate Affinities: The Open-Wall Architecture of Language and Gender, will feature performances by authors Kim Rosenfield, Vanessa Place, and poet/visual artist Yedda Morrison. The performances will be followed by a town-hall style discussion, moderated by Andrea Quaid. Q.E.D. II is a program featuring three performances over the course of three months curated around issues of affinity, influence, and provocation. Each evening features a Les Figues author alongside two additional writers and/or artists whose work has impacted them. The event is open to the public with a $7 admission fee. Entry is free for friends of the MAK Center and members of Les Figues Press.
