> DESCRIPTION

Emerging artist Gisele debuts her collection of abstract, yet narrative paintings at Two Roads Gallery.  With surreal landscapes, almost reminscent of Salvado Dali, Gisele takes the viewer on a journey -- sometimes serene and peaceful, other times, adventurous and daring.

Currently residing in Long Beach, CA with her husband, 2 step children and dog Lux, she has made a space for a studio at home that's also just a quick drive to the beach. Spending summers on a lake in Maine, a farm in New England, retreats in Montana and local deserts, the need for connection to nature is imprinted on her mind and spirit. Living in the LA area with 9 million people, the coast has been her respite and muse. She received a BFA from CSULB in 1989 and six years later received a MFA in Drawing & Painting from CSUF. Works have shown in local area galleries and museum as well as WA, MT and NH, reviews of her work in Long Beach Press Telegram and Grunion Gazette.
