Blum & Poe is pleased to announce Anya Gallaccio will be present at the LA Art Book Fair to sign copies of a new, comprehensive catalogue on her distinguished 25-year career. Gallaccio works largely with natural materials -- typically flowers, trees, sugar, and salt -- to create often site-specific installations, which focus on the decomposition and transformation of the work itself. Alongside an extensive color plate section the publication also features a conversation between the artist and Clarrie Wallis, curator at the Tate, as well as new texts by Lucia Sanroman, Norman Bryson, Briony Fer, and Jan van Adrichems.
The catalogue is published by Ridinghouse, London and will be distributed in the United States by RAM Publications, Santa Monica, CA. Please call or email the gallery for more information at (310) 836-2062 or info@blumandpoe.com.
