> DESCRIPTION

Los Angeles-based abstract artist Gisela Colon will exhibit three of her large "PODS," a painting-sculpture hybrid fabricated of blow-molded plastic and meticulously saturated with automotive lacquers in iridescent, reflective, radiating pigments. Colon's use of anthropomorphic, amorphous, organic and asymmetrical lines, appear to cause the object to dissolve into the surrounding environment allowing the viewer to experience pure color and form in space.
