ARENA 1 is proud to present MashUp, a group exhibition curated by Ivan Limas which will

open with a reception for the artists on Saturday, September 13, 2008. 

As his objective for this exhibition, Ivan Limas has collected a group of artists who deal with their heritage through unorthodox means. These artists are interested in exploring new avenues and dialogues that continuously redefine their identities. Their uses of iconography and unusual materials that may not be relevant to their background are adopted and fragmented in order to play with ideas of history and self- perception.
