Approaching architecture and design as anchoring tenants within their practices, Mexico City-based artists Santiago Borja and Edgar Orlaineta, and Berlin-based artist Tilman Wendland are in conversation with each other at 18th Street Arts Center on Wednesday, November 7th from 5 – 6:30 pm.  The discussion spans their individual projects and their upcoming collaboration, entitled Exhibitions at LA><ART opening November 10th. Together the three artists offer a spatial and conceptual framework that integrates relationships between Modernist icons including Richard Neutra, Charles and Ray Eames, and Le Corbusier, with the unexpected counterpoints such as Indigenous traditions from the Americas, ephemeral structural materials, and quotidian objects.
