Art Merge Lab is proud to announce “Transverse,” a solo exhibition by Taiwan-born, Los Angeles-based artist Ching Ching Cheng.

Bringing together several distinct bodies of work, the exhibition explores Cheng’s fascination with mechanical objects and the way they act as a continuation of the body and of personal identity. “Transverse” includes a series of exquisitely delicate but slyly subversive watercolors of vintage sports car engines, and a series of small scale sculptures of vintage cameras, made with meticulous care from found books and maps.
