Armory Center for the Arts presents “MoveOn.Now: Tomorrow’s Transportation Today,” a lecture with PowerPoint and interactive elements by artists Robert Fontentot and Micol Hebron, Founding Academics of Fontbron Academy, on October 16, 2012 at 7:30pm. Admission is free. Launched in 2012, Fontbron Academy is an artistic platform for a series of six presentations collectively entitled Lectures for Better Living (Through Art), which strives, according to Fontbron Academy course listing, “to elucidate the many valuable life lessons that can be gleaned through a careful look at art history.”
With the aim of furthering science, Fontbron Academy’s “MoveOn.Now: Tomorrow’s Transportation Today” alerts the student to the latest trends in forward momentum.

• Boats: Past, Present, and Future
• The Consequences of Unanticipated Flight
• Trains: Still a Thing?
In the interest of providing students the best education possible, all relevant information has been gleaned from the annals of art history. Artists discussed will include: Chris Burden, Trisha Brown, Gelatin, Gericault, Richard Jackson, Yves Klein, Paul McCarthy, Robert Rauschenberg, Erwin Wurm, and many others.
