LOS ANGELES - Art Is Shit Editions proudly announces FUNNY GAMES by the 'street artist' XVALA.
Artist XVALA steals pop star icon Justin Bieber’s residential trash can, which will serve as the key mainframe for the first fine art Google App robot that will be made available to the public online and in an upcoming gallery show at Art Is Shit Editions.
“We make our trash public domain, not realizing that our trash defines us more than social media,” said Cory Allen. “XVALA is just exploiting what people can’t Google.”
Within a few days of XVALA stealing the pop star’s trash can, word had spread through the LA community and had gained the attention of Entertainment Weekly and several entertainment news sites, also notable including Flula Borg, a German DJ who has gained prominent attention on YouTube like Bieber.  DJ Flula met with XVALA and covered his work in this video: DJ Flula meets XVALA's "BeiberBot"
The “BieberBot” will debut as part of XVALA’s “Funny Games” exhibition at AIS Editions on September 8th, 2012 from 8-10pm in the Art Is Shit Editions, located at The Brewery Arts Complex, 642 Moulton Ave, Los Angeles CA 90031.
Art Is Shit Editions will be releasing a limited edition hand-pulled screenprint with XVALA, available only at the exhibition opening.
