> DESCRIPTION

CAAM offers mostly first run, thematically linked, award winning and critically acclaimed documentary films during the months of April, June, August, and November. A wide variety of films are presented with the opportunity for audience reflection after each film. Films @ CAAM series represent an eclectic span of topics including politics, music, education, art, history and sports, expounding upon rich and sometimes controversial themes. Films @ CAAM series are on Thursday evenings at 7:00 p.m.

"Thunder Soul" (80 mins., 2010)

Executive-produced by Jamie Foxx. This film follows the extraordinary alumni from Houston's Kashmere High School State Band who return home after 35 years to playa tribute concert for their beloved band leader, 92 year-old "Prof." RSVP (213) 744-2024
