The Loft at Liz’s is excited to present ‘Diverted Destruction’, a group show consisting of works fabricated from materials that would otherwise have been destined for a landfill. Diverted Destruction will also feature works exploring environmental themes including sculpture, installations and paintings including an installation created by the team at Liz’s also featuring a video by Ilvio Gallo. To encourage the reuse of materials The Loft at Liz’s will be accepting submissions throughout the full run of the show.

Through the symbolic act of creating works of art from discarded materials we hope to bring awareness to the often forgotten value of the old and discarded as well as demonstrate how one person can make a difference and do their part to keep recyclable materials out of the landfill.
