Opera legend Kathleen Battle lifts her glorious soprano voice for  an emotionally charged and  evocative performance that honors the legacy of the African-American spiritual.  Backed by the internationally renowned Albert McNeil Jubilee Singers of Los Angeles, this program will feature stirring renditions of spiritual standards including  “He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands,” “Swing Low, Sweet Chariot”and “Balm in Gilead.”
