Margo Leavin Gallery is pleased to announce Summer Show 2008, a group exhibition featuring fourteen artists, on view from 31 May through 2 August. Spanning 1967 to 2006, the exhibited works feature a variety of styles and media, such as photography by Cindy Bernard and Sarah Charlesworth, collage by Roy Dowell and Alexis Smith, and a work on glass by Joseph Kosuth.

The work of these accomplished and diverse artists combines to create a dynamic exhibition that encourages visitor interaction with the objects on display, such as walking across and reading an original floor by Allen Ruppersberg (also to be exhibited later this year at the Camden Art Center) or slipping behind a wall of yoga bricks by Mungo Thomson, which forms a physical barrier across the room. Summer Show 2008 also includes a Sabine Hornig double photograph never before shown in Los Angeles and a rare, early work by William Leavitt.
