“Acosta’s works include, among others, certain elements of roots “Neovanguardista” which are acclimated to the national context. Or, better yet, a local version components, or "Mexican" of certain European and particularly Spanish meanings of the avant-garde Postinoformalists informality; materials, basically. returns but not directly, but tamayo of the years of the last century, we water, but rather appropriates some informal, on the whole mater.”

“The master's work of Munoz Acosta leads me to nearby worlds and suddenly makes me think that I'm home. I have before me, dozens of objects, drawings intertwined, cross-references, but above all an intimate order, absurd, and close to the humorous and full of cross references bordering me to piece together the puzzles to unravel the history”
-SANTIAGO EXPINOSA DE LOS MONTEROS
