The Portable Potluck Project is a new endeavor by Studio Artist Edith Abeyta, AGCC Visual Arts Director Marshall Astor, artist Michael Lewis Miller and art historian Michele Hubacek. The purpose of the project is to bring people together, inspired by the act of eating as a gateway to further social engagement. Each potluck has a theme, the theme for this edition is 1960's food, in honor of the era of Allan Kaprow's Fluids happening, the recreation of which this potluck will be held adjacent to. So bring out the ambrosia salad, a fruit filled Jello mold or the space age cuisine of your choice and join the potluck. Bring food, fork and a friend.
