Fresh Paint is pleased to present Kaleidoscope a group exhibition featuring
works by Lea Anderson, Sally Curcio, Edna Dickinson, Greg Gioiosa, Carter
Hodgkin, Jeremy Kidd, William Loveless, Jason Rohlf, Gwen Samuels, Carrie Seid, and
Jenn Shifflet. Kaleidoscope presents artworks that reconfigure elements of
everyday visual patterns—from digital satellite views, to
microscopic cellular structures, to biomorphic abstractions. From the
representational to the fantastic, Kaleidoscope synthesizes reflections of
the changing patterns of our world.
The exhibition, curated by Helene Brown and Norma Ibarra, will be on view
from June 4 through July 20, 2011. An opening reception will be held in
conjunction with ARTWALK Culver City on Saturday June 4 from 2-8 pm.
Fresh Paint is open Monday through Thursday 8-6 pm and by appointment.
Fresh Paint is located at 9355 Culver Blvd. Suite B in downtown Culver City,
one block east of Main St., between Culver Blvd. and Venice Blvd. The
Gallery entrance is at the rear of the building, facing North toward Venice
Blvd.
