Pepin Moore is proud to present US EST, a group exhibition curated by Soo Kim, featuring work by Andrew Cameron, Noriko Furunishi, Christa Garcia, Christopher Haun, Ian James, Dwyer Kilcollin, Wakana Kimura, Matt Lipps, Karthik Pandian, Matthew Porter, Hannah Whitaker, and Mark Wyse. An opening reception for the artists will be held Saturday, June 11th, from seven to nine in the evening.

The record, measure, or demonstration of time has been a ubiquitous element in the experience and portrayal of contemporary life and art, from Henri Cartier-Bresson’s decisive moment to On Kawara’s fastidious and expansive idea of time. US EST considers concepts of time in recent works by twelve artists. Some of the works in the exhibition consider temporalities as slow and geological, covering decades or centuries. Others record time as specific and exacting, minutes and moments. The work in US EST illustrates or defines notions of time as their central premise while offering an experience of its ever-elusive nature.
