This summer's film series explores India's colonial era as depicted in the photos of Through the Colonial Lens. Our first film, Junoon, captures the Uprising (or Mutiny, to the British) of 1857 through the eyes of one of its leaders, played by the legendary Shashi Kapoor. Screened under the stars in the museum courtyard, with an introduction by Dr. Priya Jaikumar of the USC School of Cinematic Arts.
