lease join us and our new Artist in Residence, Robin Sukhadia, for a month of programming centered around tabla, the traditional drums of north India. Performances, film screenings, interactive workshops, lessons, cooking classes, and listening sessions will be offered to contextualize this amazing instrument.

Featuring Special Guest Artists: Delhi2Dublin, David Trasoff, Walter Kitundu, Ajay Kapur, Ameet Mehta, Sheela Bringi, Hands On-Semble, CalArts Tabla Ensemble, Rajen Sukhadia, Saroj Sukhadia, Santiago Heredia, Mike Robbins, Leena Pendharker, Nandita Kumar and more.

All tabla classes are $5 per session, and most other events are free. Tuesday tabla classes are focused on Beginners, and Thursday sessions encourage attendance by returning students who want to learn more about the instrument — you can sign up for as many sessions as you’d like by RSVPing for the dates you want to join us.
