AMT is a constantly evolving exhibit and dynamic simulation of a connectionist network (the computer programming used in Artificial Intelligence modeling). A new artist comes into the gallery to create work and collaborate every three days. This installation features artists’ creativity as well as audience input of their interpretations of works for artists to use as direct inspiration. Just as a computer runs on binary code, the exhibit will run on artwork critique and viewer response. The network learns, adapts, and responds to feedback and suggestions from critics, artists, and viewers.
