On Saturday, February 5th from 6pm to 8pm, at 685 Venice Blvd, Venice, CA (Old Venice Jail), SPARC’s Planet Siqueiros series presents a panel discussion moderated by artist, professor, activist and Founder/Artistic Director of SPARC, Judy Baca. The panel discussion will focus on current issues facing the destruction and criminalization of street art in L.A. that are visually presented in SPARC’s current exhibition, The Confinement of Street Art: Illusions of Grime, which opened December 11, 2010.
