Edgar Varela Fine
Arts is
pleased to present the opening of this Solo show for Clemens Wolf, “The Great
Mess” in Los Angeles. The Exhibit is co-curated by Gemma Sonego and hosted by
Phantom Galleries L.A.
Clemens Wolf
Born in Vienna, Wolf has
taken many of his influences from his home city and from his travels to Berlin,
Amsterdam, Los Angeles and Tokyo. His latest body of work explores the
post-industrial surroundings of these cities and more specifically the remains
of industrial uses and the fences that surround them. His work explores the modern
landscapes that make up the industrialized world as a testament of the times.
His work evokes a classic feel that gives certain permanence to the work in his
large-scale paintings.
Edgar Varela Fine Arts is dedicated to bringing
new and exiting emerging artist to the spotlight. EVFA has a showroom space
located on Alameda Street between 5th Street and 6th Street at the corner with Palmetto Street. Parking is located in front of the
building and on the surrounding street. The gallery space is open by appointment
only other than the day of the opening. For more information call Edgar Varela
