AMT is a constantly evolving exhibit and dynamic simulation of a connectionist network (the computer programming used in Artificial Intelligence modeling). Just as a computer runs on binary code, the exhibit will run on artwork critique and viewer response. The network ...learns, adapts, and responds to feedback and suggestions from critics, artists, and viewers.
ANACHRONIOUS MIND TREE is the latest installation-curatorial hybrid by Airom Bleicher, with collaborating artists Lizzy Waronker, Mike Saijo, Calethia DeConto, Courtney Reid, Emily Ulmer, David Gorman, Blanca Caporale, Joella March, Argishti Musakhanyan and special guests to be announced. A new artist comes into the gallery to create work and collaborate every three days. Inspired by neuro-cognitive connectionist modeling, this installation features artists’ creativity as well as audience input of their interpretations of works for artists to use as direct inspiration.
