Join the Plein Air Artists of Riverside (PAAR) on Wednesday, January 19th from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at RAM for a watercolor demonstration by plein air painter and teacher, Sharon Rachal.
A master of pen and ink, watercolor, and oil, the true value of her work is in capturing on canvas or paper the simple beauty of that which is fleeting.
The founder and a current board member of the Yucaipa Valley Art Association, Rachal has displayed her work throughout Southern California in juried and one-woman shows, and is the proud recipient of the Grumbacher Award for best use of color on “Blackie’s Orchard.” Her painting, “Dawn’s Early Light,” an oil of an Oregon barn, is part of the permanent collection at the San Bernardino Museum.
Be here as Rachal shares her artistic expertise in person.
Free for RAM-PAAR members. The $5 for non-members will be applied to the $30 PAAR membership fee should you wish to join after the demonstration.
