A new exhibition will open in the HBAC Project Room entitled, Small Pleasures, a year-long project by artist Ingrid Lilligren.  

Lilligren's year-long project, Small Pleasures, contains 243 separate works of art from working in her studio daily in 2007.  Each collage is 7 x 7 inches and created with eggshells and dry pastels.  After completing each one, she emailed it along with a note to 90 of her closest friends.  The work will be displayed chronologically in the HBAC's project room and will feature 142 of the collages.  Ingrid Lilligren lives and maintains her studio in Ames, Iowa.
