Mosaic Art Workshop $5.00 per person or $15 for four; FREE Treasure Browsing

The 2nd City Council Art Gallery + Performance Space (2cc) is hosting a mosaic art fundraiser and a special treasures sale on Saturday, December 4th.  Mosaic artist, Dawn Mendelson, will guide you through the steps of creating your own masterpiece.  The workshop runs from 10 am – 2 p.m. and is $5.00 per person or $15 for a group of four.  No age limit.

On the same day you can rummage through lots of gently used items such as art books, jewelry, instruments, paintings, 3D books, vintage clothing as well as household goodies.  The treasure sale runs from 10 am – 4 pm.   ALL proceeds go towards supporting two wonderful Long Beach nonprofits – the 2nd City Council and the Found Theatre.  The event will be held at 2cc at 435 Alamitos Avenue, LB.  For more information please visit, email or call 562 901-0997.

Besides providing the community with free year round quality art exhibitions, music and art workshops, 2cc also supports the dreams and good works of others. Past events at 2cc include a budding high school film director who raised money for equipment; a fashion and music evening by Poly high school teens to raise funds for the Invisible Children of Uganda; an art sale to purchase a much needed washer and dryer for LB homeless students; an environmental movie bike-in night for CSULB students and art workshops for LB adults in recovery.

Support 2cc in their mission to keep our community strong, creative and caring by attending this event.
