Through collaboration, performance, play, storytelling, and technology California State University, Long Beach students will facilitate a four-day program (November 7-10, 2010) with catalysis in mind. Catalytic: Communities Networks Participation connects a series of social projects including community-focused, network-oriented, and project-based artworks to explore the dynamic relationships that emerge between individuals and exposes our interconnectivity with the world around us. In the interstitial spaces where artist, work, and audience converge Catalytic volunteers the spectator as participant.
