This winter, ART from the ashes (AFTA) will present INSPIRE, the organization’s fourth fund raising exhibition.  While past events have featured art that has been 100% donated by AFTA’s talented collective of artists, INSPIRE intends to give back to the artists by sharing the majority of the proceeds from the sale of art with them. INSPIRE will also raise funds for the organization in order to help continue its efforts to support communities affected by wildfire.

INSPIRE will feature 45 artists, all of which have participated in past ART from the ashes exhibitions, and over 100 works of art.   Works featured in the show will include an AFTA inspired piece, created from reclaimed fire site materials, as well as additional works from each artist. ART from the ashes wishes to honor these artists and profile their creative spectrum.

Formed in 2007, ART from the ashes is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization whose goal is to provide a cathartic avenue to communities affected by wildfire by transfiguring fire site debris into beautiful works of art.  Through a network of volunteers and artists, artwork is crafted from salvaged materials and shown in a charity art exhibition. By engaging the talent of independent artists to bring these exhibitions to life, ART from the ashes also serves as a portal for artistic expression and exploration.

INSPIRE is the organization’s fourth exhibition.
