that's right..underground art hero walt hall has put together a brand new exhibit of fantastic "found-material" art, and his work has leapt off the wall to now include mixed media pieces and other creative curiosities that have to be seen to be believed.  and for those already familiar with his work, fret not... for there will also be a hearty helping of his now famous panel pieces for your artistic consumption.  and here's a hot tip: FINDERS KEEPERS I sold out last year, and from what i've seen so far, this show is going to rock like never before...so come out to truXtop gallery and find your favorite early...or cry about it later!

and while we're on the subject of rocking, the opening party will be musically curated by the ever-popular DJ GUNTRAFFICRADIO, spinning from his incredible collection of music throughout the night. and who else, but the notorious J E N will be slinging drinks and crackin' PBRs in that loving way as only she can. *** as an extra special treat, the mad kings of garagey rock-n-roll goodness, THE POOR EXCUSES, will be performing on the closing night (sat,march 22nd) to celebrate the release of their new full length album....more details on that shindig to come.***

and to add one more reason to get yourself down to truXtop gallery, it is my sad but satisfied announcement that this will be our final and farewell show here in los angeles.  bradley and i (kari jewell, but you knew that) have decided to move on to bigger and better adventures, and as a result, truXtop gallery will cease to exist in its current incarnation that we have all come to know and love.  it has been a fantastic adventure, and we can't say enough wonderful things about everyone that has been involved throughout the process.  thank you so much X a gazillion billion million...so be sure to stop by for on last chance to experience the magic that is truXtop, and as a little hint, portland OR seems to be calling me up north...but new york keeps drowning it out.
