> DESCRIPTION

An artist's 10 year investigation of the microscopic at macroscopic scale.  Chlamydia, herpes, HIV, HPV, syphilis, avian flu...these are just a few of the diseases Daphne Hill makes work about.  While the subject matter may be repulsive, the paintings are shiny, colorful, beautiful and compelling - drawing you in for a closer inspection.  You may never think of gonorrhea the same way again.
