A Romance With Nature
Big Sur ablaze in the light of sunset, cows in a pasture near Hearst Castle and a crocked, bob-wire fence bordering the golden hillside are just a few images captured in the art exhibit, A Romance with Nature. Moved by a strong connection with nature and its sensory appeal, Long Beach resident and artist, Eli Lund, is currently exhibiting recent paintings including landscapes of Paso Robles and expressionistic wild lavender gardens from La Villa Toscana, a Martin Weyrich vineyard. Nearly twenty recent, original paintings will be featured at the Coffee Cup Café on 4th Street in Long Beach. This particular collection of paintings capture lily ponds from New York’s Central Park to California vineyards. Flowers from our local Farmer’s Market abound. Curated by Michael Stearns, the show will run from July 15th through September 5th.
