> DESCRIPTION

Los Angeles’ own psychedelic rockers with Cambodian flair, Dengue Fever provide a live score to the 1925 stop-motion cult-film classic The Lost World, based on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s eponymous novel. Dengue Fever’s uniquely infectious grooves will charm and delight as the group sets a playful tone for the onscreen action featuring battles between a menagerie of dinosaurs and mythical beasts. UCLA Live at Royce Hall, 340 Royce Drive, Westwood.  Fri., Nov. 12, 8 p.m. $28-38 ($15 for UCLA students) (310) 825-2101, www.uclalive.org.
