> DESCRIPTION
Martin Hoener is a Berlin-based painter emerging from under the tutelage of Michael Krebber at Staedelschule. His work is firmly based in conceptual painting and pushes the boundaries of the painted plane by playing with ideas of materiality and instability in his choices of media and execution.  This is the artist’s first solo exhibition in the United States.  A selection of Hoener’s work will also be exhibited at Art LA booth 25.
