Art is a means of not only beauty but of communication. Toni Scott combines her talents of painting and digital art to inspire the telling of history -- more specifically her history of African American and Native American heritage.

A historian in her own right, Scott reveals the passion, the fortitude and vibrancy of two cultures that flow within her blood.  Now recognized as a Native Indian artist as well as an African American artist, Scott seeks the truth of awareness, of strength, and of emotion experienced throughout the years captured within her art.
