Artist Jim McHugh is the creator of the current
photographic exhibition “Let’s Get Lost: Polaroids
From The Coast.” His grandfather, legendary
composer Jimmy McHugh, wrote the classic jazz
tune from which the exhibit takes it’s name, along
with “On the Sunny Side of the Street,“ and “I’m
in the Mood for Love.”
Jim Heimann is Executive Editor for Taschen
America. He is also a celebrated cultural
anthropologist and the noted author of Sins of the
City: The Real Los Angeles Noir” and “Out With
The Stars: Hollywood Nightlife in the Golden Era”
to mention but a few. He continues as a long time
member of the faculty at the Art Center College
in Pasadena.
