Join the contemporary craft party at our double opening reception for CAFAM’s new exhibitions:

Some Assembly Required: race, gender, and globalization

Curator Shelby Graham and seventeen diverse artists explore the impact of globalization on personal identity through assemblage as they attempt to reconcile multi-faceted aspects of self in the 21st century.

SALVAGED: Aaron Kramer and the Secret Life of Objects

In his first solo museum exhibition, Aaron Kramer expresses his philosophy: “Trash is the failure of imagination.” This full time artist and part time alchemist embraces commonly discarded objects as his inspiration in his reclaimed sculpture.

Enjoy free refreshments and appetizers while they last.

Groove to live music from folk-pop artist Dafni (http://www.dafni.us/).
