Craft Is A Verb is an exhibition of 6 southern California based artists that use the medium of ceramic to create sculpture that is both thought provoking and visually intriguing.  Each of the artists in this show has been chosen for his/her ability to apply critical thinking or social commentary to produce works that not only challenge the viewers mind, but also captivate the audience with stunning craftsmanship. The title of this exhibit stems from the often-misunderstood ceramic medium. While each of these artists wields their material to create stunningly crafted work, make no mistake, these works are formidable, intellectual, and often confrontational. They just happen to be made out of clay.
