As part of the California Art Club's Centennial Celebration, the organization has focused on creating new artwork and presenting exhibitions that support the theme of “Capturing California's Preserved Lands and Historic Districts.” This theme continues with the juried exhibition Historic Landmarks and Districts of Southern California, at the Club's permanent gallery at The Old Mill.
Featured paintings include images of the Huntington Library, Chinatown, Mission San Juan Capistrano, Rancho Los Alamitos and pristine coastal areas such as Victoria Beach. All participating artists are Signature Members of the Club, the most esteemed membership category for artists.
