Underworld is a collection of new artworks reflecting the memory space underpinning the quotidian. The underworld is a place of memory, melancholia, reverie and contemplation, a forbidden sensual realm that this exhibition trespasses upon. These artists’ works might be termed Romantic, except they are clearly expressions in reaction to our hyper-contemporary world.
