> DESCRIPTION

This exhibition will include of a selection of works from throughout Elliot Elgart’s long career.  The paintings range from an early self-portrait when the artist was 19 years old, to his recent biomorphic abstractions and will feature several rarely seen large-scale paintings.  In most of Elgart’s work, even the most abstract, the human figure is present. This exhibition will present a variety of striking examples of his approach to interpreting the figure.
