Hogan received his MFA from CalArts in 2006 after writing, directing, and performing in The Island of Florida: A Foundation Myth; a musical featuring songs by his art-rock band, Ponce De Leon. His first solo show, Dooley’s Aztec Pizza, opened shortly thereafter at 507 Rose Gallery in Los Angeles. Hogan’s work has been featured in K48 magazine, and was included in The Zine Unbound at the Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco, as well as Kamp 48 at John Connelly Presents in New York.
